How to pair an Xbox Controller (Wireless) to your Apple TV, iPhone or iPad

You might want to play games on your AppleTV, iPhone or iPad but don’t want to use the touch to play these games. If you have an Xbox Controller that is wireless, you may be able to set this up to play the games and destroy your enemies. Or you might just want an easier way to navigate the menus!

You might want to play games on your AppleTV, iPhone or iPad but don’t want to use the touch to play these games. If you have an Xbox Controller that is wireless, you may be able to set this up to play the games and destroy your enemies. Or you might just want an easier way to navigate the menus! 

1) Go to your Bluetooth device settings.
     a) On AppleTV
        Settings > Remotes and Devices > Bluetooth
     b) On iPad and iPhone
         Settings > Bluetooth
2) Now, you need to put your controller in pairing mode. To do this, first turn your controller on and hold the ‘Connect’ button for 3 seconds and release. 

3) Your Xbox controller should now show up in the list of devices as ‘Xbox Wireless Controller’ (this may differ) so just click it and off you go!
